Giving thanks

After the drama that went down around this time last year, which led me to leaving DeviantArt for a bit, I should be extremely thankful for the people who still follow me (and maybe even still like me). Really though, you guys have been great.

I make a lot of mistakes, particularly in how I present myself. I'm a nice guy, but sometimes I fleetingly take things too seriously. Ever since that happened, I've tried to change that about myself since I'm clearly not the only one who recognizes that flaw. Worse, in some cases, they think those fleeting moments are who I am. I wish I could prove that I'm a better person than that instead of just saying it like this - you have your right to not believe in me, but I personally believe that people can change.

Anyway, the point of this was to just thank those who've watched me over the years I've been here. It's never been my goal to be popular, because really I can't imagine what that'd get me. Instead, my goals as an artist are to do what makes me happy (and if it makes others happy, that's a bonus), and to let my voice be heard - to let the world know I exist. I think it's safe to say, I'm accomplishing both.
