Deviation Actions
March has been a bit of a break from writing as I mostly just do that Hero Academia pic series and some casual art, but April will involve some fanfiction.
I haven't been working as much on Styler, but after March is over there'll be a special Ex-Aid mini being worked in which takes place after the Legend Rider stuff, and features a familiar hero in white. So that'll be fun!
After that, I'll work on Ghost RE: BORN, which I've basically got planned out, designs and all. I don't recall if I've expressed it in a journal or statuses (the latter being temporary since I don't know if there's an "archive" of the ones not on my profile), but I consider this to be my way of "solidifying" my additions to Ghost since the show took a protagonist-centric twist that I didn't anticipate. That being, "These things happened to Takeru because he's a special boy". While I could just wave a hand and say my additions check out, I like to be fair and play with the show's established canon just a bit.
At the very least, I wanna do plenty more Gashats. Finish off the Legend Rider stuff I introduced, make Freestyle Sports (which is more or less ready to post but lacks the cover art), maybe Force Adapter.
Oh, and I figured I'd do a Gashat Gear style thing, but I want it to be a Legend Rider one. So it'd be a dial that has 10 settings... technically 11 for a default form if this is a Rider. Gashat Gear Legend, maybe? If I do decide to add a Rider (going in the route of Kamen Rider Fifteen), I'd actually not make them a Foundation X Rider this time, and it'd be Legend Rider forms in the Para-DX style of suit. So a looot of cheating would be involved to make those forms work, haha.
But yeah, I guess consider that an April update.

Where I'm at on content
It's been a bit. Again. To those who've been watching me still, I'm grateful. To those who've commissioned me, and seen me go through many art ruts for a long while as life keeps me down, I'm even more grateful. I'm always thinking about what I should be doing. I keep commission info saved and progress on it documented, so no one is being forgotten. I've not been fully focused on Rider stuff for a while, not out of disinterest but because my ADHD takes me all over the place these days. When I'm not busy with real life stuff I'm kicking around here and there. Still on Twitter for now, but we'll see how that goes. Life update
Just dusting off this site a bit... I hadn't intended for such an absence here, it just kinda ended up that way. Back in December I got sick for a while - not Covid as far as I can tell, just a bad cold - and it left me pretty useless for a good couple of weeks, up until after Christmas. Once I got out of it, I dunno. Feels like I've just been perpetually in a rut for most things. When I've got free time I've usually found myself tinkering in the world of 3D printing, because some artistic outlets come to you easier at different times. But right now even that isn't really happening because my printer is currently in a state where I'm probably gonna have to set it aside and get a new one. Anyway, I haven't really forgotten all that I do here. My mind has shifted to one interest to another that isn't toku related but I can't truthfully say that Rider isn't something I wanna create content for again. Sprites, fanfiction, all that. I just need to be in the right headspace for it. It

Definitely been a bit since I had a serious talk about where I'm at right now, and we're close enough to the end of the year it's time to check in. Right now I'm dealing with a persistent non-Covid flu that's got me down, but I wanna upload some things I've neglected to post here. As you know if you've seen previous posts earlier this January, my mother passed away very suddenly. That alone is understandably a thing that'll change a person's life, but I have never been transparent enough about my personal life to really put into context how much this impacted me. I always imagine it comes across as unusually long mourning. I'm not ashamed to say I still lived with my mother as an adult. She was always very protective, perhaps very sheltering, so this is how it shook out. I wasn't useless - I knew how to be an adult, cook, keep the place clean, I had my own money, I did shopping, etc. Art commissions would help towards rent. So you know how Japan occasionally does polls for what's the popular Rider/series? It seems for the 50th anniversary, there's a new one happening: https://www.nhk.or.jp/anime/kamen-rider/ From top to bottom, the categories are: Favorite work (Show/movie/spinoff), favorite Rider, and favorite music (vocal songs specifically). Why is this relevant? Well, when filling out the little form, providing details like your gender, there's a part where it asks for your Prefecture in Japan. The last option is "Outside of Japan" meaning that anyone can vote. Use Google Translate or your translator of choice so you can have a go at it. When it comes to the Riders, the way have it set up is... it lists all of the shows, movies etc, so if a Rider debuted in a particular movie then you'd wanna go select that (ie: Go to Movie Taisen 2010 if you want to vote for Skull). 11 forms in a single Gashat? I can't wait to see the Gashat turns out. Might I suggest that, instead of selecting the default form using dial like the other Gashat Gear-like Gashat, you push the dial down like a button? That way, the dial would be used solely for selecting a rider legend form.
