Anywho, at Toys'R'Us I noticed they had Sonic toys, so I got one. Specifically, it's a special exclusive which comes with two 3 inch tall figures, one is Knuckles and the other is Sonic, who for no reason (other than being an exclusive) is clear blue.
So, I have this thing about Sonic and action figures. I think, if done right, they can work, but their anatomy is hard to make articulated, y'know? These have a decent amount of articulation, but the joints make them look kind of robotic. Regardless, these have to be the best Sonic figures I've seen.
To sum up my thoughts: Knuckles is better than Sonic. Sonic can't even stand due to his big head and feet (the feet having the problem of being in a curve.) Knuckles has a similar problem, but his big flat feet help keep in standing.
Overall I think these are good for Sonic fans. Oh, and the reason they're so special: They come packaged with issue 200 of the comic. It's labeled as a "Collection's Edition" but doesn't seem to be any different than the normal one, from what I understand. Only kinda skimmed through it since I haven't getting past issue 25 yet.
Also in addition to these, TRU also had other figures. Sonic, I think Shadow, Black Knight version of Sonic (came with non-removable armor glove and a sword), Werehog Sonic, Super Sonic, and Super Shadow. I found it odd how the Super forms were bigger than the normal figures. Apparently they have various toy scales. Odd.
So uh, yeah. These are decent, but I think Sonic could've used more work. In terms of size, if you have any 3 3/4 inch action figures, these would be in scale with them. At least I assume so. Also, JazToys: You did a good job on these, but please go beyond the game cast? Knuckles wasn't even relevant to the comic these came with. Should've been Sally.
Review to come I guess? There's not much to say other than what I've said here. XD
