TMNT 25th Anniversary movie WHAT

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series, it would seem 4Kids has a movie where their cartoon cast meets the original '87 cast. There's a few gargled images on 4Kids' blog, but the clearest one is a model of Splinter; [link]

... I am absolutely mindblown and confused by all this. It sounds awesome, yet something about 4Kids being so awesome just baffles me. Not too long ago I was bashing their anime censoring reputation, and now they're being faithful to TMNT?

I dunno man, maybe they just hate Japan.

Actually, this sounds incredibly stupid.

They need to have both cartoon casts meet the incredibly violent original comic cast.

There was a sound clip teaser which had some talking from Splinter, Leonardo and Shredder, but they sounded like the 4Kids cast. Any hint that those are their voices would be that Shredder refers to himself by his real name and says he's the true Shredder. BUT BUT BUT, at the end, Bebop talks, and he sounds perfect. :D I'd be very surprised if it wasn't the same VA.

It very well could have been the same actor. :D This does sound awesome to me. I'm a sucker for crossovers, especially to a degree like this!

Yay! =D

4Kids! Might just make me like them now.
Ok, maybe not.. =)

maybe it's ADR or something to prepare for it. I need to say Raph and Don NEED their original voices the most of all the turtles

Townsend Coleman (Sentinel Prime, Tick) was the original VA for 87's TMNT Mike. Would be bodacious to hear him do Mikey again. :p
