RIP Wayne Allwine

Thanks to =Spax3 for bringing this to my attention. We've lost a great voice actor in history, Wayne Allwine. Best known for providing the voice to Disney's most iconic character, Mickey Mouse, from 1983 to now. It's a bit of a tough situation for Disney, because Mickey Mouse is still quite active in things such as Kingdom Hearts and a couple of Disney shows. To be honest, I don't know if anyone can replace him and sound just as good, but I'm willing to give them a chance.

I know there are others who can voice Mickey, but I have doubts that we'll find anyone who can do it as well as Wayne Allwine

Well, I don't know. For all I know they probably have a backup who could take his place. Guess we won't know until new Mickey Mouse media comes up.

Wow! I must say that I'm honestly not familiar with the name, but I can understand the impact this must have on Disney's operators. May he rest in peace, and I hope his family is able to deal with the loss in a healthy way.
