Blitz is a comic I've had in my head for a while, and with the Kamen Rider Gaim fanfiction concluded, I'm moving on to this as my main focus. This submission will be in the main part of my gallery to serve as a general "guide" - a basic introduction.

PREMISE
The story takes place in 2045 AD, in the fictitious city of Dotrina, California. Robots at this point have been heavily integrated into society as a peaceful, law-abiding species who carry human-level intelligence. However, one at a time, they start to go rogue and attack humans. With no immediate defenses, the police make use of a new combat system installed into Thompson Robotics' robots to deal with them.
In this setting, there are two brands that produce robots: Thompson Robotics Incorporated (TRI) and CiviliaTech (CT). While TRI's Units are lifelike, being closer to androids in classification, CT's Civbots come in many shapes and styles, looking more like your traditional idea of a robot. TRI, after being in business for a while, have moved into making their Units military-ready with combat modes that can only be accessed by authority figures. Meanwhile, CT prides itself on being a "family friendly" company, often focusing much more on mods for everyday life, something TRI has long since stopped focusing on offering.
The story focuses on Jezebel Garter, a TRI employee who ends up taking medical leave due to a broken arm and is given a TRI Unit named Emily, who ends up becoming the local police force's go-to combat Unit to fight off rogue robots.

CHARACTERS
Jezebel "Jez" Garter:
Jez is an intern at Thompson Robotics who doesn't have a lot of friends, but as her mundane life seems to take a bad turn, she ends up receiving a TRI Unit from the company which she names Emily.
Emily:
Emily is new to life, being just activated, so she's excited to try new things. She ends up being a bit of a polar opposite to Jezebel but hopes to do what she can to make a connection and make this friendship work.
Mint & Hector:
A married couple who come from different brands, these two run the Hopeful Gears boarding house which Jez (and by extension, Emily) has the pleasure of residing in.
Jasmine Smith & Song:
Jasmine is another employee at Thompson Robotics who helps out Jezebel when she sees she needs help. She's quite accident-prone herself but luckily has her own robot, Song, to act as a caretaker.
Arthur Saxton:
Formally part of a duo until his partner's retirement, Detective Saxton is a skilled officer who takes it upon himself to deal with the more dangerous crimes in Dotrina, which means he'll be at the forefront of the rogue robot incidents.
There are also other characters, but these are the immediately important ones right now.

THE PLAN
The story takes cues from Mega Man (the original cartoon moreso than the games), Kikaider, and tokusatsu as a whole. Many of the chapters (called Entries - Entry 01 being the first) will have a format familiar to Kamen Rider fans, with an episodic threat and overarching mystery, along with the change in Jezebel's character as she has to adjust to her new life as a robot owner and friend to a hero.
When I officially start producing pages, the tentative plan is to either post them once a week or twice a week. Things could change once I get to working on it.
As of writing this (April 18th 2016), the script to Entry 01 is complete, Entry 02 is awaiting complete feedback and Entry 03 is still in progress.

That sounds cool. I want to take a break from my cancelled stories to work on my KR story, so I may like some pointers. It will have the usual "guy finds out the transforming device while fighting the first monster of the week on his own" starting. Also, it's a world with magical girls, because I have no idea I was smoking.
